Starting July 1st, Greece announced that all travelers entering Greece should have completed the special Passenger Locator Form 24 hours before the departure flight. The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) can be found here.

  • Travelers will receive a confirmation email upon submission of the PLF.
  • Travelers will receive the PLF with their unique Quick Response (QR) code on the day of their scheduled arrival in Greece (at midnight) and will be notified via email (the QR code will be provided in a link in the confirmation email).
  • Travelers boarding or embarking on the previous day of the arrival will be allowed to do so upon showing the confirmation email, since they will receive their QR code during their flight or voyage.

A fine may be issued upon arrival in Greece, in case the PLF document has not been filled 24 hours prior to the departure so be sure to fill this one on time in order to avoid any unnecessary delays and surprises.

Urgent cases for traveling falling in the period of less than 24 hours prior flight, will be examined by Hellenic Authorities per case and acceptance or rejection will be notified to applicants through an email message. Airline are required to check the existence of such a confirmation e-mail prior passenger acceptance for boarding.
